NO ONE IS AFRAID OF ANYTHING

April 2, 2009

No one is afraid of heights,
They are afraid of
falling,
No one is afraid of swimming
They are afraid of
drowning
No one is afraid of
loving,
They are afraid of
rejection.

No one is a afraid of the dark,
They are afraid of the feeling of
being alone.
No one is afraid of tests,
They are afraid of
failing.
No one is afraid of dieing,
They are afraid of not
living.

and when that day comes

when its time to pass away,
there will be two numbers on your tombstone
one for when you were born
and one for when you closed your eyes forever
>>but it’s that tiny little  d-a-s-h  in the middle
that makes it all worth while

I’M NOT A LITTLE GIRL ANYMORE

April 2, 2009
i looked in the mirror today;
& realized i wasn’t that little girl that would wear
ribbons   in her hair. i wasn’t that little girl that
daddy  would  pick  up in  his  arms  and  spin
around  the  room.  i’m no  longer  that little girl
that would dream of being a [princess], in a pink
castle.  i wasn’t the little girl that thought boys
were  disgusting,  and  gross.  i’m  no  longer
that   little girl. but  it’s  that  little girl, who
made me who i am  today.

THE FEELING I HAVE EVERY DAY

April 2, 2009

Its The Loneliest Feeling In The World;

when you find yourself standing up, while everyone else
is sitting down. to have them all look and you & say
” whats wrong with her? ” i know what it feels like, walking down
an empty hallway; listening to the sound of your own footsteps.
doors closed, windows & doors all locked against
you. & the whole time, you’re not sure if you’re walking towards
something .or if you’re just finally walking away.
